I am sooo excited to have made it through to my first break in point - seems like it took forever!

I did the 1st service myself...changed the oil...adjusted the chain...adjusted the clutch and throttle and went over all bolts and tightened them...just cost about 12 bucks as opposed to $100.00 the stealership wanted to charge me...

You changed your oil for 12 bucks? 
I buy 4 quarts for $8.99 each and filter. Adds up more than 12 for me man. You're lucky.

Shell Rotull synthetic 5w-40 oil for me per tonytooth. Oil/filter change in the ZX14 was less than 25 bux for everything.
The race bike gets MOTUL hehe thats another story.

Ummm...did I fail to mention the 3 bucks I paid for 3 L brackets to install my home-made fender eliminator that day also??
I buy my oil by the gallon...much cheaper...try it...u'll like it!
