well so far I've removed my rear pegs and it kinda makes it stick out more. And I don't see any other possible place yet. Everything is packed tight. The solution may be one of those brake res pipes that eliminate the res and pipe

does it stick out to the point it hampers performance or you guys the type that place a lot of priority on what a bike looks like

I doudt it hampers performance at all. Not all priority on looks, but as yelo said with the rear pegs removed it must stick out like a sore thumb. Like they forgot about it and added it later.

Thats probably the best location considering any where else would put it too close to the exhaust and all that heat.

When we were out at Fon-tucky last weekend hubby was able to get a close shot of a race bike and where they have diverted the reservoir. Seems they just used some extra shielding and tuck it up.
If you don't want to move it just slap some black duct tape on it, at least it won't stand out so much....
Hope this helps you...

Have you tried "posting pictures for STUPID"?
haha, just kidding ninja!
You have to put the brackets at the front and end of the link.
EXAMPLE: [ ] <---put img inside those brackets at the beginning of the link. Then at the end of the link do the same but put a slash / before you type img in the enclosed brackets.

Also NINJA, photobucket provides the complete code for posting pictures without having to type the brackets and IMG manually. I think it's the last of the 3 codes photobucket provides underneathe your pictures.

Just spent some quality time studying the rear brake reservoir. Truly tragic in its mounting. Apparently no forethought put into its placement and design . Nice to be able to look at the 6 side by each with the 1098 to see how OEMs tackle probs differently. The 1098 has a much smaller reservoir tucked neatly close to the frame. They've cleaned up the whole rear brake area by mounting the rear master cylinder horizontally behind and parallel to the rear brake pedal. This gave them a nice exit for the reservoir hose which is routed behind the frame.
Trying to apply any of that to the 6, we cant see any way to make it work. The mast. cyl. on the 6 rear brake is in a vertical orientation. Thought about trying to relocate and reroute the hose on the 6 but the banjo bolt on the top of the mast cyl. intersects any possible neat/tidy/clear path for exit/routing.
Really, all of this seems like an afterthought... Making matters worse is the giant ghetto plastic "shroud" hiding the exhaust, giving you no clearance or any mounting points between frame and header.
You know... you make a cool bike and have an undertail exhaust. Design it to be a FEATURE.
Instead KHI hid it with layers of plastic and BS, and then someone in engineering remembered that you need a rear brake on this thing, so they hung it out back somewhere using a cheap bracket.
Hey... idea... head down to the Ducati store with a digital camera and a pen and see what they're doing.... I can tell you what they're NOT doing. They aren't hiding the frame or the exhaust or anything else for that matter.

Nice rant Fish...
So what's with all the anger? Is it at Quack-a-Ducky in general or is there something wrong with P.K.'s bike? Beside's the the obvious... it's not a DUCK

Who said I was angry? Heck... I'm just being honest, and that's what this site is about.
Hey... go stick your solo seat cowl on your bike, pull your passenger pegs, stand back, look at your bike... then look really closely at your bike... then get back to us... try to be honest.
Since they built this bike "from scratch", you'd think they could have planned this stuff out ahead of time
