C14 bags and other questions

Hello all! I'm a newbie to this forum, but not to riding litre class bikes. I'll be buying a C14 next year, but as I know many of you have already done your homework I have hopes that ya'll can answer a couple of questions for me.

1) I read a recent magazine review that stated that one of the saddlebags is smaller than the other. Anyone know about this. I can't tell by the pics, and neglected to look when I saw the bike at the dealer.

2) I seem to remember some early promotional material stating that Kaw. was to offer electronic cruise control for the new connie. Again, anyone have any info why it didn't make it to production (if it was to be offered at all)?

Thanks in advance for the wisdom and knowledge.
Steve

155 on an 86 Concours? I don't think so.

Hey, I don't make numbers on the speedo, I just report 'em. Ask my wife. She was the passenger.

Figuring a 10% speedo error 155 indicated is believable.

1. Both boxes look to be the same. I can fit a full face in either one and they look the same atleast.

2. In the US the only option on the bike is ABS. Maybe we will see a cruise control accessory but if not you can find multiple alternatives (throttlemeister and vista cruise come to mind).

Was I wrong though about early promotional material touting cruise control, or was that another bike? Could it have been the BMW K12 GT?

I have easily hit 170 on the speedo, I have pictures at 165 and one up hit the Gov. @ 186. Need to set up the GPS to get exact speeds but this bike will break the law and will do it in a hurry!
