I would have to see it in person. I really don't know what to think! The headlight kind of favor the Honda Blackbird. If it is truely the next Busa, then I must have one. I have been satisfied so far with Zuk.

Based soley on the spec sheet it looks good. Was surprised Suzuki went with a smaller displacment with there big dog. I was expecting a 1397 up until a few months ago when a few that are always in the know said don't count on it.
The looks as I said in another post I like keeping too the original style with some tweaks. It will take some time too adjust too like the origna and several new and different brand release have
Same frame and block I like but was kinda hoping they went with a monocue frame not because I'm sold on a monocue frame but the aftermarket supports so far Suzuki much more favorably and we might see more turbo Zx-14's in the mix with the turbo Busa's and than the trickle down technology that comes with new designs working with both models.
I have a feeling the cousin, the B-King will top the turbo builds next year

I'm really disappointed they didn't do more. This looks like a slight body plastic makeover, and a what, 1mm over bore. I really hoped Zuk would be aggresive with a supposed all new Busa, and give Kawi something to shoot for. 1hp will probably keep Kawi from making any big changes.

Wow... talk about bringing a knife to a gun fight.... now that actually have "almost" the same crank HP as the 2000 ZX12R... very Sad for suzuki... a 1999 with a 1397 kit will still totally kill this bike and you can get one of those for 5g's...

Then it won't run good in a wind tunnel
Fuckin wind tunnel discussions. I guess the Hayabusa has to have some excuse for that ugly ass end.

I wasn't surprsed they didn't go with the 1397 setup. I figured they would do a 1360cc as that would be in "Manufacturer terms" most efficient, overall power with 100% reliability.
I was hoping that the Zuk would put out 5hp more at the crank.
I did believe they would go with more compression but right now they claim 12.5 to 1 and didn't the ZX14 at first claim that as well then just before releasing it was bumped down to 12.0?
I think everyone knew the headlight would resemble the GSXR1K.
I knew the weight would be heavier. But for some reason Ted had said 15lbs. lighter but the Specs say 485lbs. dry where the old models were rated at 478lbs.
The wheels look like the ones from a GSXR1K. Kinda disappointing. But if they are the same, ZUK saved money in that area.
We all also knew the Radial brakes would be on the bike but my question is if they have a better master cylinder.
I was hoping the body would be a little more different. Has anybody seen the tail light yet? That could use some upgrading from the ol 99-2007.
There could have been a better color selection IMHO. Right now I would only go for the Blue/Black combo.
If the bike keeps the 12.5 compression, 198hp @crank, and was truly lighter by 15lbs., then it would be clear to me that after a few nice little bolt-ons the Busa will reign once again.
Overall, I am somewhat satisfied yet at the same time disappointed.

Been waiting a long time to see the new Busa and kinda dissappointed suzuki then go all out and from that pic the fairing and windshield look pretty high almost looks like a real sports tourer like the concours or honda.
