On the other hand I like it. After reading the specs I think it will be a nice upgrade. Looks like they even compensated for the overheating problem associated with big engines. Hell I here the 14 can't be stretched without knocking the damn drain bolt of the oil pan. Thats just sad.

By the looks of it, certainly form seems to follow function. That seat looks Goldwing plush and the windscreen is approaching the size of a touring bike too.

My zx14 is stretched, slammed and my drain plug is just fine ...

From the rear, that tail looks like the ass of a volkswagon beetle. -But I'm guessing it prolly doesn't drive like one...

i dont know about everyone else. I like have a bike thats not everywhere. Whenever you go somewhere you see busas. I like being one of the few to have a 14. The busa are a dime a dozen and the new bike looks to much like the old. Hey maybe you can take the new rear end off and replace it with one of the old aftermarkets. At least the 12 and 14 are totally different motorcycles.

That's from tedbiele on haya dot org who's at the show... Again... JUST enough to probably squeak out the 14 given equal riders and conditions... But there's a lotta power hidden in the 14. Still dont' know why people haven't really dug into the 14's motor yet, but new throttle bodies (hell these are 2mm smaller than the 12!!), bigger pipes (let the damn thing breath), more aggressive cam... Zook and Kaw may not be in bed together any more officially but you know damn good and well they know what the other is doing. They plan to milk this little race out for the next 15 years. If they didn't, they'd have taken the busa to 1397. It's a proven kit on the existing engine that would have made more of a dent in the 14's current dominance.
As the real numbers come out the crank HP has dropped to 200 to 198 now it's 192 hp.... and it 11 pounds heavier than the than the zx14 ... zx14 dry 474 pounds, new busa 485 pounds ..... So it's got 192 hp and 11 pounds more weigh ......
