ecu memory

ok this may sound stupid but........ after removing the pc5 does the ecu revert back to the stock map? the reason I ask is my pc5 crashed killed motor after checking the obvious.. fuses wiring etc.... unplug pc5 went to stock harness bike fired up. this is after I made a lot of changes to the fuel curve. added fuel 5 pct across the board, needless to say I had no idea what it would run so I dialed a 9.80 bike ran a 9.50 and it ran smooth and felt great pulled strong all the way through. running a sidewinder no pc5. just want to know if I need to replace the pc5,,,,bike felt great aint broke don't fix it kinda thing.

PC5 is an add on or piggy back, it does not reprogram the ecu, so yes it reverts back to stock map.
