Heading out to the track this Sat.1/8 mile track 2012 zx 14 r stock pipes17/45 gearing lowered strapped .I'm 260# in shorts.What kinda time do you think I will run .I will posted times

How much drag race experience do you have? How long is the bike? Stock everything except gearing and strapped? Sorry to ask but it matters greatly.

Maybe 50 passes in 3 yrs only 6 passes on my 2012 zx 14 stock wheelbase lowered best time was a 6:42

Like that when our 14 was stock Sam ran 6.30's fairly easily foot shifting. Air shifter made a world of difference. I'd think you will be maybe a tenth quicker with the greater power of the 14r compared to the 1st gens. 6.25 maybe???

If you weigh 260 in your shorts just don't wear them. Maybe 6.10 instead.

Factory tach reads really high. I'd guess it's probably off by 500ish at the top of the RPM range.

Need a thinks,stock tire is carp.tire just won't hook at all..12# of air loosen the strap still doesn't want to hook

Wow, the 6.25 estimate didn't miss far, huh? And if it spins down track the MPH goes away badly.

Bike act like it has a strut on it spinning the tire the whole 1/8.call Lutz to get me lined out on shock setup
