It is a lot harder to properly tune a rider, then it is to properly tune a bike.

When I asked about the LSR results I honestly did not know that there was an engine failure. Engine failures happen to the best of them. The 217 seemed a little soft when compared to the 14r with bolts on only that went 212. Just curious

and a 14r seems soft when a zx14 went 212 with just bolt ons
Now, where is that sound coming from?

I'll tell you what.......
I have customers with zx-14's that will race any zx14 all motor. The same goes for my busa customers, they will race anyone, anyone, with an all motor busa.
It can easily be arranged.
And if you want to talk nitrous or turbos? I have a busa customer that will race any nitrous or turbo busa or gsxr1000 or zx14 in the country. Again...... He will race any all motor nitrous or turbo busa or zx-14 or gsxr-1000.
Bring your best carpenter motor to the table. Bring your best adams or whom ever's motor to the table...... They dont care who built it or whos head is on the bike. They WILL race you.
Any takers please email me at Jim@competitioncnc.com and I will put you in contact with the appropriate person (motorcycle with inflated hp numbers) to race.
But be warned, none of these guys will race for free or for $1000.... and they don't take American Express.

Hey guys, Settle down. I have no beef with Coby Adams. This isn't personal. Ive never met Coby and I'd like to some day. As someone else just pointed out I DID NOT say anything bad about Cobys stuff. I respect Coby as a fine bike builder. He wouldn't be where he is today if he wasnt.
This thread started with a guy asking about both of us and our products. And I just posted some reply's.
I realize that my performance claims are under attack, and with all the BS dyno numbers that have been thrown around in the last 10 years or more by some shops I can understand why.
Now as for that blown motor and Rickey hitting the wall at Rockingham....... We didn't build that motor. AGAIN, WE DID NOT BUILD THAT MOTOR !!
We started to build Rickeys motors right after that crash. If you want to know who built that motor ask Rickey, because I'm not going to say who built it on here and get accused of "starting" something.
We did take that motor apart thou and saw exactly what happened. The wrist pin slid over and was rubbing on the cylinder wall and the piston and pin failed and the broken rod took out the cases and Rickey went down. Again, WE DID NOT BUILD THAT ENGINE. We started to build his motors right after that crash.
The "hoe" is not one of my bikes. It now has one of our Head and cam packages on it as does area 51. We did not build the engine in either bike. Johnny builds his own motors and does a great job.
I only tell people who is running our head and cam packages if the owner doesnt mind me saying so. For every 1 that doesnt mind 5 dont want me to say anything. But thats the grudge world.
Also I don't disclose any details of anyone's builds to anyone else. Some of these guys don't mine me saying I did the head and cam package for them but I wont talk about the cams there running or any other details.
I've been on this board sense about 2000 I think and as many board members will tell you I'm not a shit talker. Its one of the few boards I like because there isnt a lot of shit talk.
I'm here for conversation about performance related topics. I really dislike this type of crap and usually don't take part in it but seeing as how I was called out as having "inflated" BS dyno numbers I felt I needed to set the record strait.
The race offers still stand.... To race one of my customers "inflated dyno numbers bikes" please email me at Jim@CompetitionCNC.com and I can arrange a race for you.

quote:Good point 1bad, CNC race bike went 5 mph faster than one with just bolt ons or did it ever go faster than 217?
Also, there is no Evidence that the CNC shop bike ever went faster then 8.13.
Also, that was Rickey Gadson's now "infamous" 254 hp CNC bike. Which was opened up and had a CNC head and cam package installed, and very shortly afterwards blow up and hit the wall.

We will see a show down if Jim and Adams agree to build and tune a bike(s) from start to finish themselves and race with like weight jockeys or ride the bikes themselves.
There are class races and grudge events for that.

Ok , we need to stop. I have my own 13 busa, And we are going to race all the aspirated bikes that agree to do so. There are many shops and that's what racing is all about, as a company. I don't bash shops, if you bring a bike and it's good we will let you know.
I'd like to thank Jim for putting a fire under my ass to finish this bike. Been working on it for a few months. Pointing out Carpenter and Adams Performance,,,Not sure if that's the best Idea. Bob and I do business together and he is a good dude.
Lee's cycle center on the same level, we compete but we can go out to eat and have a great time.
When we race, it's business.
I built this bike to make money, it's up to you guys on what side you bet on.

BLK ICE It seems you have an Ax to grind...... I'm not sure why..... so far your statements you presented as "fact" have been incorrect.
The head and cam package was shipped to Rickey and another shop installed it. Ask Rickey who installed it if you want to know because again, I'm not going to get accused of starting something on here. Again, we were not doing Rickey's motors until after that.
I told you what what happened to that motor and why it blew-up and that we had never touched it until after it blew up at Rockingham and put him on the ground. Again, a wrist pin slid over and was on the cylinder wall and it broke the piston and pin.
Why should I call anyone for a race? I'm not the one contesting my dyno numbers. If someone thinks my dyno numbers are inflated I'm giving them the chance to prove it. All it takes is an email.
I want to make one correction. "cocaine" doesnt have our head and cam package. They have several bikes and I get confused which ones are what. Ive never even seen most of these well known bikes everyone talks about, having only been to MIR a few times.

Everybody calm down, there is not a lot of difference between the packages that reputable companies do,Hell we are not talking about major modifications if you get 2-5 hp difference between good engine portings, because you will not get more than that difference,so what? There is only so much you can do with a port job ,so brighten up

well maybe they should race then ..
And the next time you log in under a different name to fix your bike call the engine builders . don't come on a forum and ask keyboard racers how to fix it ..
