Howdy,
I see that there has been much drama lately - clearly its winter  - Sorry for the late response - I'm swamped working 80 hrs a week at a job which has turned out to be considerably "larger than described" ( Check us out Wednesdays at 8:00pm on The CW  )
Would Stevewfl, Wheelie and Smokin pls do the following if you are interested, willing and able to assist the site as a moderator - please fill out a CONTACT FORM (click contact us) and please include your phone number - freek will follow up with you regarding the details of moderating at Bikeland, what flies and what doesn't and what the job means - just so we are all on the same page.
I'd also like to thank zxbob for his assistance in the past.
Carry on, have fun - maybe one day I'll get to have a life again

Fish i can't read the PMs for some reason and when i can it will not let me respond ....I didn't want to say this in the open but this is the only way to reply to you.... We had this topic about mods and voting in new mods a long long time ago and you never acted on it.. I felt this new poll fell on deaf ears just like the last one did .. I have moved on ... Sorry no hard feeling .

smokin, thx for pointing out the IM problem. i tested and realized i wasn't getting mine reliably either. turns out it has to do with how some browsers implement popup blockers now. They open the message but hide it for you, instead of just not opening it. Since it was technically opened, the software things it was read. I've simply disabled the popup method (after a failed attempt at getting around the problem, but Chrome at least is being an extra special asshat about it), so now you click on the notice to read your IM.

Right - and moderating is a serious job - not something people fuck around with and joke about. Clearly we were right back in June, and apparently right again. You confuse "ignoring" with "vetting". People like crotchrocket, entropy, doug meyer, mad mike and even stevewfl have been around for years. I've met them, had beer with them. I trust them to not fuck around and to take care of this place like I would or freek would. Our spidey senses were right.

Fish you got Steve to fill in as a Mod .. I would say the poll worked great , Steve is a great guy and as you already know a great Mod ... Win Win ... My poll was not to win a Mod spot for myself , it was to find a Mod any Mod that would do the job and do it well .. That is why i put write ins are welcome ..Sorry it was me that had to rattle your cage to get you moving on this long over due change .. You can be mad at me if you want , call me names if it makes you feel better .. And i'll say it again , I still hold no hard feeling about you ..
