That would be so awesome. The new Honda CB1100 is amazing. It looks so vintage, but with modern technology. I wish Kawasaki would make a modern KZ1400 just to one-up Honda's.

That would be awesome except for the violent headshake coming out of a corner with 200hp on tap with that 140 series rear tire.

I would kinda think if they are putting a 14 motor in a kz chassis it would have some newer suspension and wheels. but yes a steering dampener would be a must. lol

The 14 is a great platform for a drag bike - we have built 2 -- sold one but the current one we have we pulled the big 1500cc KZ motor out -- it was close to 15;1 compression - had to be started with an external starter -- built to the max at the time and with a 60 shot went 7.77 @165

replaced it with a ZX14 motor - headwork and tranny work only --- stock cams, valves, rods, crank etc... 60 shot goes 7.70's all day - push button start. easy on the motor -- with an 80 shot we ran it one time 7.56 @172

Plus if anything is wore out - just go to kawi's website and order a new one -- no tike that with the kz.

My bike has been back halfed and currently has a 10" wide rear wheel with a m&h reace tire so traction would not be a problem...
