Hey weighmaster...

You may be a social retard, but you made it through all of the razzing and hazing of the past few threads without a single "Fuck you guys I'm going home" moment. That alone makes you head and shoulders above the last few guys that have shown up on here lol. Welcome to the boards... You're alright by me.

The first part of your paragraph may be correct, but I'm not sure about the second half...

It is not my personality to do that. I realize that most people here are "motorheads" / drag racers and they think with that mentality so naturally there is some conflict with a pure street rider. I may not fit their "mold" but I've been riding for 20+ years and have owned about 2 dozen bikes so I know a few things about them.

Perhaps someday I will take my '06 14 down the 1/4 mile to see if I can break into the 9s even on my first pass and not having drag raced in close to 20 years. Best I ever remember was 10.75 at 132.9 MPH on my Honda CBR900RR but that was SWB and very light in the front so my 60 ft was probably awful. I also had a Suzuki DR350 (dual sport) that I used to wheelie the entire 1/4 mile. Trap speed was about 45 MPH (I had just shifted into 4th gear I think). I was "asked" to leave the track. I can't imagine why. Crowd seemed to love it and my brother got it on video and when we watched it back when we got home, we were laughing hysterically. Since I missed the first 100 feet or so off the line on one wheel, I more than made up for that past the finish line so it was a legit 1/4 mile wheelie. I don't remember the exact ET but I am thinking 27 seconds. It was a semi-balance wheelie ... lift in 2nd, clutch shift to 3rd and most of the wheelie was probably in 3rd, then a final shift to 4th near the end. I only picked up about 20 MPH from the lift to the trap. Not bad.

Chad -- I used to like you lol - now you go and get this idiot thinking that people actually want him back on this site.

osr, you are the one that had wrong weights posted for your wheel conversion kit so how does that make me an idiot? I spotted your error and you corrected it because of me. Could it be that you are embarrassed of your "mistake" and wanted to see me leave this site? Could it be it wasn't a mistake but a gimmick to try to increase sales of your conversion kit by misleading people like me who instead of believing you, went and purchased my own wheels and got different (less) weight savings than you?

Why would I care if people want be back on this site or not? I have ideas and experiences to express and that doesn't make me an idiot either. Did you ever think that just because I ask a question, that I don't already know an answer and am just looking for other answers to compare? Maybe I am looking for patterns and not just individual answers.

osr, if you really had confidence in your conversion kit, then why did you refuse to sell me one and tell me you did so because you didn't want me complaining about it later (down the road) that something wasn't right?

Umm, sorry weighmaster, yes, some of your ideas do make you sound like a idiot.
For example- you say don't worry about swapping to a lighter wheel, you can get better results by just swapping to a lighter tire. You say grip doesn't matter, your just joy riding. Lool

Osr wouldn't sell you would be bad advertisement. Period. I wouldn't sell you anything either, just because I'm nowhere near as intelligent as you. I mainly drag race, and I do less street riding.

I never said grip doesn't matter. I don't want the osr wheel conversion kit because by not getting it, I saved a lot of money. It isn't just the $125 for the kit, it is a lot of other stuff that goes along with it including shop time I have to pay for in my case.
