Seen on suzukihayabusa.org someone is almost finished with a procharger kit for the 14r, should be cool!

Supercharger and down the road I would be very interested in this, I'm going to om him over there and ask him to come to this board so he can update on an actual 14 forum vs a almost dead hayabusa forum

Never can be fast or quick enough IMO, I've rode my buddy's 390 hp turbo Busa on the street and it's a riot!

Hi guys, I am finished with the machine work for this setup. It is turning out as I hoped. I have a few things to do to the motor and chassis, and it should be up and running in the next few weeks! I will keep everyone posted with pics and vids!

HOW IN THE HELL ARE WE SUPPOSE TO HANG ON..I swear my 14r try`s to suck me clean off it when i bang redline thru the gears on the hyways....You talkin 200 plus more horsepower and 125 fpt.

I plan on it being a handfull. I think I have figured out a way with using a staged timing (gear or time based) retard function in the Holley HP EFI system that is going on this bike. To hopefully control the power well enough to get it to 60 and down the track with out killing me. LOL

Smokin how do you set that up for a stock wheebase 14 drag racing....?
I'm thinking 20T front 38T rear.
6th gear pow pows would be fun.

With the super charger, power is controlled with timing control. And of course Blower rpm's.
If using a stock ECU, I would run an SB6. Timing control in every gear, with luanch curve as well.
Gearing will help also to a point. I'm at 64". This bike bike is built to RST BigBore Nitrous rules for 180 lbs rider. With the SC I am to follow the same ruling for Nitrous.
The biggest limiting factor I feel I am going to face, is that per RST ruling. I am still on a stock pressure plate in the clutch. No lock up, no slider, no multi stg. I have to keep the power controllable and hold the clutch together.

Yep- timming- I had a boost-retard dial on the dash of my kenne bell Jeep back in the day. How much boost can a stock motor take and does your kit have an intercooler?

Looks like the tricky part is going to be putting the body work back on .. I'm thinking they are going to be cutting some big holes .. Post up some pictures when you get it all wrapped up ..

tuningfoRk, glad you made the trip over here, I don't know a lot about turbos or supercharge, but just the basics of how they work, it's not hard to make 600 hp with a turbo, but I think the real difference is how they get their, I think the supercharger makes more power down low, it will be interesting to see the dino numbers and where it makes power at. Do you know how many pounds of boost this system will make ? good luck and I'll be watching.
