how to tune using wideband commander 2 and LCD 200 question

I was wondering if anyone has the PCV- Wideband 2 -LCD 200 setup and how you determine which a/f numbers in the logged data to make adjustments on. I know you have to look at your data after logging it in excel as Dynojet has no software. My question is should all of the a/f numbers at all gears, throttle positions, and rpms be the same??? Dynojet says have all numbers at 13.0 for best power. My problem is that when I look at my LCD 200 a/f on the bike as I ride it, it's all over the place. I idle at 12.2, low rpms are between 11.5 and 12.5. Whack the throttle and the a/f goes to 13.0 up to 14.5 and back down. I'm afraid I'll be chasing numbers forever. They also seem to be inconsistent and change with the throttle steady at a given rpm/gear. I have a brocks map installed with the CT megaphone and I feel as if the bike is rich. Doesn't bog, but not scary with what I've done to it. Very predictable and no real power surge in the mid range and some decel pop. Very rich. How do you pick which numbers to adjust in the map? Should I get a custom tune and map the top end richer for ram air????? I have never messed with a dyno map before. This seems overwhelming...... Brocks says their map is better than custom and I'll waste my money for less power.

Thanks!!

I am running the same setup, only thing you did not mention is the can bus cable. I have my unit setup as an autotune with a target AFR 13.2. As far as data logging goes, I don't bother, my primary use for the LCD is to load my nos map when I am out racing. I had a custom map made, have Brock's map, Ivan's map (which I think runs best, IMHO), and now just leave autotune on. As far as running, I think my bike runs perfect.... The best part is the set it and forget it, it will make adjustments for you.

The folks at Dynojet can help you sort all this out over the phone. You should call them and get your money's worth.

Since that piece of shit decided to spam our boards with his overpriced cell phone jammers. If anyone is interested in a jammer at 1/4 of his price check this site out

I have a simular setup, but I have the WB2 with digital guage:

-with my set up (terminator plug and a can to can cable)
-you must set the target a/f
-the application will not make adjustment as Dyno jet says... you must accept the changes in the SW.
-I have installed/used this combination on 6 bikes and it works well, until the weather changes, then you truly have to monitor your your a/f and accept the changes once or twice and you are good it will be minor changes.

Remember you must set the target A/F before it will start to populate data in the cells.... (this is with auto tune turned on of course

Auto-tune and a trigger map will not work together. Following lenghty discussions with the techs at DJ this past week, here is the set-up process......Use your AT to build a 13.2 A/F map or whatever A/F you want, then save that map and disconnect the AT. Now load your second n2o map for the juice trigger and you're good to go.
