How many years does it take to break in a bike..

GOOD GOLLY 4 years and still breaking it in ..http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/mcy/3272659727.html ..i think its broke in as a slow lazy no go motorcycle...

Hi,

I am selling my 2008 Atomic Silver ZX-14 with 810 miles as of this posting.

I bought this new hoping (dreaming) I would find time to ride it. Well, that did not happen. It is in perfect condition. Perfect - no scratches, no blemishes, only showroom quality. It has always been garaged, never ridden in the rain, and never abused.

This is a great sport bike if you are tall. That is one of the reasons I liked it. I am 6'1" and feel natural on the bike (not cramped like other bikes of this style).

If you are looking for a ZX-14, this may be your ticket. The new 2012 model is awesome and a little faster. However, it comes at a price (6000+ more than this). The 2008 - 2011 are all essentially the same except for different color schemes.

This price includes my hat and riding jacket with the deal. They are both of very good quality and have seen little use. The oil has been changed a few weeks ago as well.

Of note - I am sorry, but I cannot allow any test rides. It is not broken in (4000 RPM max until 500 miles, 6000 RPM max until 1000, no WOT, etc.). I have been the only one to ride it and want the ultimate buyer to be assured of proper break-in procedures. If you do buy it, you would appreciate this!

If you are interested, please email me from Craig's List or call/text me at "2.1.0" "8 .3 .6 : 6. 0. 9. 5"

Thanks for looking!
SB.

P.S.
No matter what you buy, good luck and ride safely!

$2k too much for a bone stock '08, ultra low miles or not. Used is used. Maybe he's military and deployed for years at a time? Either way, he'll be damn lucky to get the asking price
