I can`t get powder coating off 14r wheels.
Nothing i found faze`s it.Aircraft stripper, permatex gasket remover, or Eastwood gel paint/ powder coating remover.If i can get the powder to come off easy i can make them look like se wheels.............................I e-mailed khi in japan but no answer yet.....Anybody got the answer on what this shit is and how to strip it off.I put lots of coats of this stuff over an hours time with each of them with no results.............

Tell your local motorcycle dealer to put it on their tire machine.Mine does a pretty good job of removing my powdercoating everytime I get a tire mounted

I just went out and used a pencil torch.At one point i tried to get it hot enough to bubble.I held it in the same place for 3 minutes and it did`nt even discolor it.I even put the powder coat stripper over and over while hot .........What the fuck is this shit...............

Aircraft stripper + sitting in the sun for an hour..... Use Brillo to "scrub" off

turns out it`s some kind of plastic.i`m taking them now to get bead blasted then powder coated like the S E wheels.

Polish them up, they look good... but taking care of them can be a pain in the ass...

I seen a guy use oven cleaner and let it set for 1/2 hour then steel wool it off.
