I washed my bike last weekend

Anyone that knows me understands that having the choice between washing the bike and riding always ending up with the bike heading down the road.

but on the way back from a week long ride thru NY , PA, WV, and VA I got caught in a really bad thunderstorm just 60 miles from home. So the bike got washed and I still went riding.

If anyone really wants to understand the aerodynamics of their bike and riding position , try going 80 mph thru a downpour wearing shorts and a tank top. You will find out where you get the least amount of pain :-)

pic was taken on the 1 lane bridge at the bottom of the New River Gorge in WV. If you want to see some crazies , do a search on "Bridge Day " ,, they have base jumping off of the 900' bridge once a year in the fall

Nice pic and it sounds like a great ride save for the rainstorm.

Roy next time use a little thing called soap ... I keep tellin Roy to wash and wax his bikes but he will not do it .. Even after i told him it will run one to two MPH faster .. Maybe this will work , Roy hot 18 years old checks will want a ride if you wash and wax your bike ..

I try not to ride in the rain for the simple reason that it gets my bike covered in crap but I couldn't avoid it when I picked the new bike up a couple of months ago. A forty mile ride back home with a brand new bike through a downpour, had a big grin on my face all the way.

I washed mine by hand for the first time this weekend, I really like the new lines on the 14.

This will be the only/last black vehicle I ever own....looks killer, but I need some color.

True Roy, you always choose riding over washing. But you usually choose working on a project over riding. Not so the past couple of weeks. Looks like you've been working so much on different projects (thanks) that you finally said hey wait a minute. This is my time now.
