A compilation of turbo questions.

I dont want to start a new thread every time I have a turbo question so they will all be listed here as they arise. Any helpful info you guys give is greatly appreciated. I was in the turbo business for 10 years almost 20yrs ago and things have certainly changed. This is a Muzzy 5-6psi kit.

1) What FMU's are reputable besides Bell Engineering?
2) I plan on using the walbro GSL392 pump. Any known problems?
3) Anyone use the Parker Push-lok fuel hose system?
4) The "low fuel" flashing problem when removing the factory pump is fixed with what resistor?

Vents better, have to get one for mine .
Bigwil i see you have the bigCC velocity stacks, just put some on mine , std were leaking &
just flat lined at 300hp

BEGI are the most commonly used FMU on bikes as there able to do both the base pressure and rising rate , others need a regulator far base pressure then thay raise pressure on boost , takes up a lot more space

i run the 392 on my landspeed 750's, pump is good to 400 or so hp and been very reliable
have a intank walbro pump on the zx14 , figured it was a better use of space and allowed me to keep the gauge,

LOL mine is beginning to look like the Bismarck , 6 extra 5mm bolts in each ram air fitting
3 extra in the frame covers , and using the case sealer instead of silastic, realy had to lever hard on the covers when i wanted to replace the velocity stacks
And i think i need more weight on the lockup , be inspecting the clutch later today
but the oil got dark quick

I suggest that you don't use a FMU, they are nothing but trouble. I used a mallory one to one and mapped the bike. Using the aftermarket gas cap will prevent a vapor-lock and running lean.

Your fuel system looks really nice but I would be scared to death having my fuel lines/pump that close to the ground in such a vonerable spot.

The way the pics are that muzzy shows, the mount is upside down making the pump more upward toward the engine.

ah 1/4 pounder why did u have to stick a fork in a good thread. Yes, i will agree that if you are not careful with tuning you can waste a motor. But if take your time with tuning and turn boost up slowly you can experience HP like u have never felt before
