Dynojet Quickshifter?

How many of you are using one of these? From what I have seen, feedback has been pretty good on them. I am considering one for my 14R....since it is primarily a street bike and I don't want hassles. The BMW I rode had a factory quickshifter, and it was pretty sweet...

Which one would you use Shane? I'm interested in going this route as well. I know seno has that other brand quick shifter I can't think of right now but he says you need rear sets for it but not sure why.

I was planning to use some rearsets so that it was easier to make the linear sensor work...then the shafts have to be the right length, but that is no issue imo, local machine shop if needed...

Dynojet setup or whatever....I'd like to make the Dynojet work...

Please post pictures! I don't see the need for aftermarket rear sets but maybe I'm wrong

I had one on my old 2006 ZX14 .. I could never get the thing to work right .. But it didn't look anything like the one in the above picture .. Maybe they changed to style ? Problems with the old one ? It was a dynojet and hooked into my dynojet PC3 ..

I have used it for 12,000+ miles without a problem. It takes fine tuning to get it dialed in, but when I got it set I never had to touch it again.

I went through 3 Dynojet Quickshifters on my 2007 ZX14, when it worked it worked great. It is a bit antiquated without running rearsets.

For the 14R I wanted something better and bought the HM Quickshifter plus, it is FLAWLESS. It is a complete stand alone unit and you can adjust your shift lever sensitivity & kill time very easily. It is not cheap $500 but worth every penny, several Moto GP teams are using the HM unit.

I´ve been running couple of months with one. Street and closed circuit.
No issues so far, and I´m happy with it!

I think I will be getting the setup that Seno has...I really like that unit, and the tech is impressive. Will still ponder it for a bit.

Thanks for all of the feedback. Btw, Blk Ice, your bike looks awesome.

Came across this today.
Don't know anything about them or anyone using one, but it appears to be a less sophisticated and therefore cheaper version of Seno's unit. It's still made by HM and is about half the price. Probably good enough for strip use?

Yes, you are correct Greyhoundmoses. The link you provided is made by HM for Annitori Distributing. When I was doing my research before I chose the HM Plus unit, I was contacted Annitori and they basically told me this. Quoting word for word their response.

"The HM PLUS kit, which is the best shifter in the World, period. Sells for $559.95 here in the US, we think you all know about this product already as it has been around for quite some time.

The other choice is the ALL NEW, just released Annitori RL Quickshifter, made for us by HM. It has all the features we believe you want from the PLUS, without the “extra” frills that we felt were not needed to most riders in our market; in particular no LCD screen and less adjustability.

What is VERY different is that the Annitori RL sells for $279.95.

On older bikes, or “unusual” bikes, the PLUS is more capable as it can adjust further to accommodate a wider range of situations.

The RL is focused solely on the current and modern sportbikes.

Which is better?

In the end, on a modern sportbike they are virtually the same in terms of operation. Why? Because that is exactly how we designed the RL.

How about if we put this in car terms? The HM PLUS is the Ferarri Enzo, the Annitori RL is a Porsche Turbo. There is nothing that compares with an Enzo, but then again we don't know anybody who would complain about a Porsche Turbo... "

Finally managed to upload the pic!

Have just made some tweaks to the kill times...

What is anybody else running?

I've ended up with :
1st to 2nd 90ms ,
2nd to 3rd 80ms ,
3rd to 4th 70ms
4th to 5th 65ms
5th to 6th 65ms

Seems to work pretty much perfectly... So far !

When i decide to go with this mod it will be with the Annitori unit...From my understanding being that you cant adjust them yourself do you tell them the settings you want and they pregramm them in or are they preset and you tell them which ones you want?
