To me it's a dream in the corners for what it is. I get pretty aggressive from time to time on the back road "twisties" and it will get down as far as your willing to go on it. Super stable entering and exiting turns as well. I also have a 2009 CBR 600RR and I honestly have as much fun cornering with the 14r as I do on the CBR.

ive had mine just a few days now and had a chance today to take it on some twisty roads and i think it handles better than my 09 zx14 did, i dont think its just the tires either because i had pilot power 2ct on it, it seems more stable and easier to turn in . overall for such a big heavy bike it handles very well, i think losing 3 or more pounds in the wheels helped.

Here's a video I made back in February. We were taking it easy because of salt and debris on the road, and we eventually ran into ice. I shot this from my Busa watching the 14R behind me, and got my own 14R a few weeks later.
I don't have any more recent videos, but will be doing a track weekend at Barber Motorsports Park in October. Should have better video and pics after that.
The 14R can get down in the twisty stuff, but she's much better on Dunlop Q2's with a 190/55 in the rear than on the stock tires. The Metzelers are fine for sport touring, but in my opinion they don't cut it for harder riding. To be clear, it's no liter bike in the tight stuff, but it certainly is a lot of fun and handles very well for its size.

I don't have much to compare it to. It sure does handle considerably better than my trusty old CBX's. I have been working on wearing off the elephant on the side of the tire so I would say that for me being an old guy, it handles very well for a heavy weight.

It'll more than hold it's own. But it isn't no lightweight supersport race rep either.

That's a fairly old vid, notice he also has taken off the lower fairings & has a high mount exhaust to keep from dragging parts. Still a really impressive display of bike handling.
