Who does the best flash Guhl, or Ivan
Seems like everyone is paying about 375.00 for a 10 second reflash...plug your ECU into the tuner's laptop...and viola....another 375.00 gone..without testing your bike on a dyno to see what it is really doing.
So, which of these two tuners offers the best ECU reflash for the money and why?
Ivan charges 425.00 to reflash you ECU, he sends it to Guhl, he plugs it into his computer for 10 seconds, sends it back to Ivan, who adds your address and sends it back to you.
What is the advantage of a middle man? What does Ivan do for 425.00??
Ivan owns a 14r, Guhl works on 14r's that customers bring to him.
Ivan has no computer technology to develop your ECU or tweak it....Guhl does...
Just wondering why the two tuners are working together...when you the customer can send it to one tuner and be done with it.

Before you get a reflash from Brocks it has been dyno tested .. I'm sure Ivans does the same .. I don't think Ivans track test them but Brocks does .. I did testing for Brock as well as Shane , mine being Drag Racing and Shanes being Land Speed Racing .. I believe Ivan shoots for HP and driveablity more than Drag Racing and top speed ..

Stick with Guhl.... He does the reprogramming for Ivan, your better off dealing direct and cutting out the middleman.

Yep Ivan tunes for road manners and smooth power delivery as a priority (he actually street rides and data-logs as well as dyno-tuning ), while also making good power. I would go with Ivan for a mainly street ridden ride.....his tunes are the best real world street tunes I've ever used, VERY smooth and strong from the bottom up.

I think when you order from IVAN you get a separate tune for you PCV which i think someone else has said already. From what i gather from talking to both is IVAN care more about the guy that ride his bike everyday and spend most of his time in the midrange than just at WOT. I think both would probably be good. I also think the extra 50 buck for IVAN ECU flash is more for shipping purposes and not for the flash. I will say though for 10 minute of work I think 375 is steep, but you have to look at all the time that was put into R&D when the tuner was not getting paid a time in the development.

Iiket he street riding theme but I have Brock's map in my PC-V. Will the Ivan flash still allow you to use Brock's FI mapping?
