Well I'll be there watching ya'll. Don't feel like I'm quite good enough to compete yet, maybe by next year. It's sure gonna be fun to watch though.

Why not good enough to compete?...its just big TNT with a few classes....no disrespect but there are so many guys out there with perfectly good running bikes who get soooo butt hurt cause they bike isnt running what they think it should so they dont race...
Then cry and wonder why the 4th largest city doesnt have a MC series..this is why...maybe they should stop calling it grudge cause "grudge" has a negative tone and it generally is NOT family oriented...my 2cent

Guess I could give it a shot. Gonna be there anyway so I might as well be going down the track. Does anybody know where I can see a break down of the classes? Are they set up similar to the old Texas Shootout?

2012 TEXAS GRUDGE FEST SCHEDULE AND RULES
May 12 @ Texas Raceway, Kennedale Tx
June 30 @ Houston Motorsports Park, Houston Tx
July 28 @ Houston Motorsports Park, Houston TX
September 8 @ Texas Raceway, Kennedale Tx
**World Finals**
October 13 @ Texas Raceway, Kennedale Tx
Don't forget this year is a points series, so points will be accumulated from each of the 5 events!!!!!!
Races at Texas Raceway: Gates open at 3pm, Racing at 4pm, classes start at 7pm, close at 12am
Races at Houston Motorsports Park: Gates open at 5pm, Racing at 6pm, Classes start at 8pm, close at 1am
Points Procedure:
100 points per round won
100 points bonus for winner
50 points bonus for Runner Up
(buy back does not occur round one points)
Example: Street ET 16 bikes:
Winner gets 500 points. (4 rounds won plus 100 point bonus)
Runner up gets 350 points. (3 rounds won plus 50 point bonus)
Basic Rules:
Street Et:
No bars
No electronics(delay box, two step, throttle stop)
Street Tire (round slick ok)
Staggered Street:
No bars
No electronics(delay box, two step, throttle stop)
Street Tire (round slick ok)
Must use same index throughout the event
Outlaw/Prostreet
No bars
These rules are mostly self monitored, and very basic. They are meant to keep it where just about anyone can race.

for sure get out there and get some seat time and some racing experience. Why wait? Who cares how you do...its the fact that you ARE doing it!!! Go have fun. Wish I was closer, I love racing in H-town.
