Been reading this forum heavily for the last few weeks. Haven't had a fast (relatively) street bike since my 94 zx-11. Went with a good friend of mine to Norwalk a few weeks ago to help him pit his Busa and the bug bit HUGE. Have my eye set on a new 14r. I will be 50 this week and am smiling reading there are quite a few mature age members here.
Hope I didn't make a fool of myself in my first post here replying to one of Gixerjohn's threads.

I had to have one to replace my 09se I'm 59! Well, it didn't actually replace the 09----I still have it.

Welcome!!! I was thinking I was getting to old ( I'm 50) for a "sport bike". So I sold my busa and bought a Harley. Big mistake. I just bought a Black ZX14R today and looking forward to years of "fun" with this machine!!!

I also sold my M109r to return back to the Kaw. I just bought the Blazing Green this past Saturday. I feel like I'm back home with the Kaw.

Thanks for the welcomes. Having a tuff sell with the Mrs Ministry of Finance. Having a very close friend get killed on a HD due to no fault of theirs makes it an issue for her. Might just have to agree to only ride it the 5 miles to work and at the strip. Works for me if it gets it in the garage.
