how a great night goes to shit that quick
first time back to the track this year after doing all my mods to my bike. perfect friday night mid 70s my times were going down by 1 tenth every pass got it all the way down to a 9.5 and i was stoked my personal best. now i will say the track we go to isnt the best but its the closest we got so i dont really have a choice. its located less then a mile from the mississippi and once the sun goes down you can feel the moisture in the air and its almost an instant dew. i lined up in the staging lanes and i was going to make one last pass before i called it a night and sure enough tnt got pushed back for trophy class, high school class, and then someone decided to bring there jet funny car out and blow jet fuel all over the track. after he went they "cleaned" the track and tnt was resumed about 6 people went ahead of me and everyone seemed to be doing fine. i line up launch it out and boom kicks right....kicks left....crash bike slid to about half track all on the right side....fuck my life! seriously having the best night at the track ever and now im picking the piece up on the track. i find myself very lucky i got some bruises and a fractured toe but other than that no damage to myself. i honestly dont know if the jet car was to blame, the cool down of the track or bad setup but my bike was hooking like no other all night up until that pass. ik im going to take break from racing for a while but when i do go back i dont think ill be racing after the sun goes down whether thats smart or just paranoia now. i know its only money but shit this sucks i cant look at the bike without get sick to my stomach but like i said i walked away and got to come home to my son that night and thats all that matters.
i posted in the classifieds looking for plastics i figured i would post a list here too in case anyone can help me out:
2008 black se complete right side fairing including the nose, right tail and top cent tail piece
right side mirrror
both side rear sets
clutch cover
brake lever
thats all ive been able to see i need as of yet luckily the enging still runs fine

That sucks bud... i feel bad for you and your scooter.
You have a good attitude though.
Take plenty of ibuprofen and eat something before you go to bed... youre gonna be tender in the morning.

Man that sucks . i had the same problem tonigh but lucky i didn't crash ... Sleep on it a fews days and get back on the bike as soon as you can .. The worst is over and you now know what it feels like to crash .Chances are it will never happen again ... Get back on the horse and ride brother !!! Glad you are ok , you can fix the bike ... The members here will help you with the parts and get your bike up and running again ..

Plastics can be replaced, good to hear you are ok. I just read "smokinZX14" thread and he also had the worst night tonight.

Guys i posted a wanted ad in the CLASSIFIEDS for parts for fullthrottlekaw .. If you have any parts that can help him out please respond to the wanted add in the CLASSIFIEDS.. Sucks man, sorry to hear. I laid my '06 down and will forever have scars to show. But yeah, fix it better than stock, and get back on it. Life's too short not to be be CRAZY
