14r and 08 zx14 on the same dyno

My friend but his bike on the same dyno as mine was tunned on. Thought it might be interesting to report.
My 08 zx14 pcv custom tune, full muzzys m10/14, bmc street and 10-40 oil made a peak hp of 171.5 with extended chain and a new heavy sticky u-soft tire. (im told this drag tire and extended chain eats 10hp or so on this dyno.)

14r bone stock about 1k miles or so. 194hp peak on same dyno. So a Stock 14r has About 12.5 hp more hp and bigger hp curve than the 08 with full exhaust and tune.

so extend a stock 14r and put on a u-soft and it makes 183hp.

Id ran my bike at stock lenght with stock exhaust n tune and a bto16 rear before and made almost identical numbers to my full exhaust n tuned 67" usoft 14, so i know the usoft and extra chain are power hogs. But its a trade that pays off when racing from a stop.

But on my dyno I pulled 195 horsepower with full brock and a 2010 14 with exhaust pulled 181hp so his 12.5 horsepower seems plausible

just food for thought, not knocking on the r or anything. In our roll ons its clear that the 14r is faster. My 190lbs on my my piped, geared, tuned and lion battery equiped 14 can only just bairly pull a A STOCK 14r with a 260lb rider in 2nd gear roll ons to top speeds. Thats all changing though as the r is getting brocked out..
