He must not have changed the gearing or over inflated tbe tire, only 195 mph?? Had to be on the limiter with that much power. Piped ZX12's went 200 from what I heard.

[qoute]**Read the following classification definitions to make sure you qualify for the class you chose.
Factory Stock: Classification retains all a factory produced drive-train, electronics, chassis, exhaust, induction and layout. Modifications are allowed to meet the set safety requirements outlined in the technical rules and regulations. Cosmetic changes to the paint, ancillaries, and changes of tire make are allowed. Tires must retain a DOT rating. Performance enhancing modifications are not allowed to the drive-train, electronics, chassis, exhaust, induction and layout.
"to me" performance modifications to the electronics is breaking the rules .. but hey what do i know

Removed restrictions..... My mistake. if thats different from guhls flash. I dont know if you have to flash in order to remove restrictions. Back to the topic.. I wanna try lsr now! Thats very impressive for stock. I wonder how it feels to go that fast on this bike? Is it still smooth? Thats what id like to know

Thats the problem with class racing..How far do you go on tech?Do you really think they tear the motors down? How does the average tech guy check an ECU?

They allow speed limiters to be removed. Otherwise watching all of the bikes go 186 would get pretty boring.

In all other popular venues the bike only need appear stock...internal engine mods are allowed as long as they fit within the class displacement.

How they know thats all they removed when REFLASHING with ECU .. you know like bump timing up or extend rpm change mapping .. DOES THE ECU come with a witness statement of truth as to whats been modified .. and even if it does whos to say such ECU is in the ECU in the bike at time of running... WHO CHECKS ALL THIS SHITT..
on a busa you can flash(edit) as you made your runs .. datalog every pass and change fuel to conditions and pass .. theres reasons why bikes are pulled into enclosed trailers to make adjustments too ..

Throttle bodies are too small for top speed. Doug Meyer ran 192.3 on a 2000 zx12r. Put some 47 throttle bodies and this bike will burn.

What I was pointing out was that 14r has more torque and hp than that busa but the ergonomics on the 14 still is its weak point in LSR. the zx12 also had good eronomics and ran faster with less hp.

Eronomics is the study of how the human body fits a device , like a seat or steering wheel... if you are going to make shit up at least know what the hell you are talking about. The word you were looking for was Aerodynamics ...So far nobody has proven the the gen 2 busa is any better than the gen 2 zx14r in aerodynamics ..
Second....he said the busa was modded, piped ,tunned and had race fuel mr12 ran 197....the zx14r was stock but for the top speed limiter removed .. Get it ? stock pipes , no PC , no tune ..and still ran 195..
I swear we have some real dip shits posting here at times ..
