Who will Match-up ZX-14R vs S1000RR?
I have been told by a few of the BMW guys that the 2012 14R is not the most powerful or quickest.
So I would like to see a heads-up dyno, 1/4 mile comparison in stock form first and then put on comparable mods to see who will come out on top.

Don't get me wrong. I believe the 14R will smoke the Beemer.
Maybe Brock can do it. He's not bias and he will give us real numbers to gloat over.

about the same h/p ...bmw 100 lbs lighter. 1400r is better real world bike.something you can live with

No way the BMW can run with the 14R until you put about a foot longer arm on it. That's just to start with. Better not have anything other than an anorexic jockey on the BMW either.

Does It really matter?? You can't ride ether to its limit so who cares what bike is quicker/faster/better

oh yes we can....whats the matter.you scared of a little power wheelie the first 1/8 mile.i hope for that every run.i live for pushing the shift button on the back tire when the shift light comes on in the first 3 gears.....fun fun fun....

go compare it to liter bikes like zx10r...don't waste ur time with zx14r.. it is not the same class bike..
i got a better idea.. find you a ducati desmosedici rr and compare to that..

Its not a hard question to answer. The beemer makes on the average of 182hp with 78 ftlbs of torque all stock, and the 14R 190 to 195hp 113 ftlbs of torque.
Yes the beemer is 100 lbs less but stock for stock wheelbase, there is no Beemer nor ZX10 that can run with the 14R without a bunch of weight on the 1000's!!
Try to go 9.0's with stock pipes,stock wheelbase and pump gas..........................................Aint gonna happen, no matter who rides at what weight!!

The 14 & BMW are 2 different categories regardless. After making a few cracks towards my friend with a Harley, he said lets race... I said ok. He said from NY to Florida..... Same difference comparing the BMW to 14.. 2 completely different bikes.

I think the thing that makes the beemer a good road racing bike kills it in this contest.high center of gravity really first gear gear no weight on the front.yes its almost 100lbs lighter but 15 more HP and 30 lbs/ft make that up.the 14I is longer lower better clutch and a first gear set up for dragracing,no contest.

The 14 will beat a bmw from a roll. I already found out. So from a dig it will lose even worse.
