Should get my CT Single this coming week but gotta say I'm surprised the product and install procedure has discussions such as "full thread engagement" and "replacement of studs". I'm assuming Brock has full confidence of the secure fitment with all parts supplied or if not supplied they are not needed. I REALLY would not expect any trips to the parts store. I'm happy to pay the premium for the pipe but do expect the fitment to match the performance. Something isn't right though because there is no way those flange nuts have enough engagement for anyone to feel 100% secure.

Mine look just like those in the 1st pic in this thread. The flanges are much thicker than stock because of the design of the exhaust.

To do it "right" longer studs are needed. On the other hand, this is not much of a stress point, so it's probably OK as is.

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

When I removed the factory studs the short threaded end was in the head, When I started to install the clamps for the CT exhaust the nuts were only half way down on the stud. I was not comfortable backing the stud partially out of the head to gain "some" threads , It was just as easy to replace them. original is 8mm x 1 7\16" long , just go to parts store get exhaust studs 8mm x 1 3\4" long put some high heat anti-seize on them and you have full engagement of the nut. adds maybe 30 min. to your install, but piece of mind is well worth it.
