The tracks open in March...Grudefest
Well the ground hog saw his shadow and that means 6 more weeks of winter....but not here in the south where we are seeing 60's already. Our local tracks open up the first weekend in march with some Sunday test & tune. They have a grudge Day the 31st. maybe this will be a year that people start coming back to the track. I sure hope so. I have already built two 1000 motors for friends who are getting there stuff back out this year. I got to get my bike up to Steadmans and get it tuned. Time runs out quick.

memphis motorsports or whatever it's called opens up on the 18th but i 'm pretty sure most people will be at hub city in hattieburg for the Fat Tuesday race...

Yea Saturday is all bikes at Hubcity that weekend and everyone will be there. HolidayBeach drag strip is 1/8 mile and they are having a Grudge race on the 31 of March. Should be a lot of bikes for that. 3.5 hours from Memphis. 1Bad I thought things were picking up. I work for Daimler which just posted a record 2.36 billion profit for a 1/4. We are working 6 days a week now 10-12 hours a day and still can't keep up. I have already repaired a couple of 1000's that didn't get fixed last year and the buzz of dragracing bikes is in the air again at the plant.

yeah things are picking up ..everywhere but here in america.. look at the shipping info of where those cars you made went to .. diesel $4.00 a gallon and climbing

Yea I still have it. working on a trade with it now. Seems more people have stuff to trade than put out cash.

I like boats but don't need another one. Me and some friends are going to go to Hub City in Hattiesburg MS. Saturtday for the Fat Teusday all bike race. Weather permitting. That bike turnout will be an indicator of what the season will look like.

A lot have done that here and took up ATV riding. It's a lot of fun and not much cheaper.
