-(measure the height on / off the bike) adjust the actual height of the bike, there should be 1.5 inches of sag after you sit on the bike.
-Rebound: the adjustment should be where the bike rebound very slow; it should be very hard to see the rear of the bike rebound back up to ride height. Normally to get this type of rebound add more compression.

There you go Wee. You wanted some experts to comment.
To get more rebound damping, add more compression! Simple really.

wee
The down track traction problem could be from the rebound being too slow. Next time you have the problem try backing off the screw a little. Couldnt see the rebound recovery in the video to know for sure. Looks like a slower dampened squat off the line.

Kawasakijockey, I'm not shock expert, but how could it rebounding really slow make him loose traction on the top end of the track?
The way I see it, the slower it comes up, the less the chassis will be unsettled.

Depends on track because you can pack a shock down and if the suspension cant follow the contours (bumps, etc.) of the track the tire will spin. The tire grows with wheel speed and runs on a smaller contact patch and then of course is easier to spin.
A real soft compression and real slow rebound is what causes it on a bumpy track. It really has a lot to do with the surface of the track.
No expert either. Just picked a lot up from roadracing and applied it to dragracing.

Bently, if you want to make a judgement call on my 2nd time at the track vs 100's and 100's of runs on my 09 go ahead and make the call.

...rickey showed us how much faster the zx14r was from the old gen 1 on 1 pass each .. you must sux at riding
Badguy, my riding skills are nowhere near Rickey Gadson's, I'm doing the best I can, I've been to the drag strip two times with this setup, it's been 9 months of not racing for me, my times do improve with each time I go racing, there are only two 2012 ZX-14r's that are drag racing at length right now, Smokin is the other, he will put up more numbers Wednesday night. Sorry if you are unhappy with what I am doing but it's the best I can do.

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
