Two Brothers Exhaust Feedback
I'm considering changing the stock exhaust to Two Brothers Carbon Fiber slip on mufflers. How would you rate them? Is it a fairly easy remove and install? They claim no re-mapping necessary. Is that correct? How is the sound?

If all you want is sound then get slip ons. but if you want performance gains that will turn your 14 into a beast then get a full system by Brock or Muzzy. And dont waste your money on a TB juice box my buddy has one and its junk!

Mine were part of the deal when I bought my 07-14... I dont really care about the xtra power that a 4 into 1 gives because I havent put it on the strip to see the difference.... I personaly like the dual exhaust look and the sound of the twobro's. Everyone that knows me and my bike seem to like the sound so imo why change it...
all in all its completely up to what you like or what you are going for, looks? power? sound?

even though I do not like 2 bros, I agree with you. make it your bike, ask for opinions based on reliability and performance, but when it comes to looks, and sound, make your own decision for yourself. what good is it to have the coolest bike in everyone's eyes but your own?

+1 !!
Real life, first hand experience. Our local dyno shop had an open house, BBQ, free dyno run day about three months ago. I've had my bike tuned by this shop before (prior exhaust sys) so I didn't have any real need to run it on the dyno but after a stock 14 with just 2Bros slip-ons (I think it was xstatik121's bike) pulled a 162 (pretty much all the stock 14s show approx. 158 on his Dynojet machine) the guys wanted me to run mine (full Yosh system, shared map - by Greg) in which it pulled a high 172. Hope this helps, good luck with your purchase!

Not trying to start a bad rumor, but from what I'm told from guys who do advertising for them and from other parts of the web, Micron is pretty much out of biz.

No matter what anyone says.....slip-ons are all close to the same power and remapping is the smart way to go.
You should buy based on price and what you like(looks and sound) - not the minimal performance change.
I had my 2Bros on in 10mins stock.
I made my turbo pipes to fit the duals and I still use a single side of the system on my turbo now.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I'm pretty well locking in on the Brock's or AreaP's with the pc. Anyone know a shop in the Reading Pennsylvania area that really knows their way around the ZX-14? I'm brand new to Kawasaki.

Well I have Brocks SMEG on my 06 ZX14, but on my C14 I put the ZX header and a pair of Scorpion C/F Ovals. Think you would have to go a long way to find a sweeter sounding and looking pair. Best of all they were on a super clearance sale, so I came out cheap. I ran a set of D&Ds on both bikes for a while, actually the same set, and they were loud. No class, but loud. Someone had a set of Scorps for sale in one of the ZX forums at a good price, mebby you can take advantage.

Did you say that you've got a ZX14 header on a C14? How'd it help performance wise?

Yes with a PC from FuelMoto. Performance gain is very noticeable. Got rid of the cats and that scud missile they put on for a muffler. Probably would be a littl better with a dyno tune, but is a nice improvement over stock now. Oh and I did pull the secondary flies also.
