Black 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R Walkaround and Rev Video!!! Finally got it!!! After some issues with my dealership (I was supposed to have this way back on December 19th!!!) I finally got it on Saturday. I would've gone to another dealership, but no one was willing to beat their price so I held out for pretty much as long as I could. Right before I was frustrated and ready to cancel they called me and told me it was actually being shipped. I gave them a few more days and it's finally here!!!
Here's a video I took of it to share with you guys. Hope everyone enjoys! The bike is a beauty!

Haha yes, those are all my motorcycles. I've been very lucky in life to get a good job, not fall into the debt trap, and just be financially strict with other aspects of my life to afford theses things. They were actually originally supposed to be gifts for my brothers to go get their license and ride with me on my Harley, but unfortunately some things didn't pan out. So it's just all sitting in my garage collecting dust. The green Ninja 250R SE is what I ride the most amazingly enough, love that thing.
One of these days if I ever get skilled enough I'll buy myself a trailer and haul the Busa and the ZX-14R to a drag strip.

What are your initial thoughts on the bike compared to the Busa?

dcjens, the ZX-14R actually isn't that imposing, I was even slightly disappointed. To me it's the same as my Busa when it was stock in terms of decibel levels with a slightly different exhaust note. I've since upgraded my Busa with Two Brothers slip-ons and it's a beast. I'm planning on doing the same thing with the ZX-14R over the summer. I saw the Two Brothers video with their ZX-14R system and it sounds amazing. I do have a video of my Busa rev before the upgrade and the ZX-14R does indeed sound significantly louder, but I think that had more to do with the fact that I used an external mic for the ZX-14R video. Your '06 lady need not be too jealous haha.

vernesonic23, I only rode it for 10 minutes because of the weather (about 20 degrees, frozen rain water from the week in the parking lot, and freezing winds). I wasn't prepared to freeze to death or crash the bike from frozen parking lot pavement haha. My super duper early initial thoughts though, I sat back and forth between the Busa and the ZX-14R and the ZX-14R felt 10 times more comfortable to me. It has 2 power options: L and F I think? Don't exactly remember, all I know is I had it on the most powerful option. It has 3 traction modes, I put it on 3 because of the weather.
It feels heavier than the Busa, but rides very similarly (I turned a few corners on my 10 minutes). Like I said though, my Busa lost a few pounds with the Two Brothers exhaust so I'm sure that's why it felt heavier on turns. If I was blindfolded, I don't think I'd be able to tell if I was on the Busa or on the ZX-14R aside from the fact that I'd feel more comfortable on the ZX-14R. I really have no comments on speed and acceleration because I don't think I even got out of second gear.
