If you look at the graph, I would think getting this thing moving swb is a issue. The added TQ and the fact it comes in sooner implies this. I just don't understand the big question anyway. Wheelie ran a good 2-3 mph over what a stock gen one does in the 8th, why is it so hard to think this thing won't back end like a mofo considering it makes the added power AND. Actually runs out the tacks back door unlike a stock gen1 does?

stock vs stock that was my only arguement.. not the hp or torque or how much zx14r better than zx14... i guess u are brain washed too with all those dyno results.. as i said before i had them all zx12, busa, zx14 and soon zx14r but i am not loyal to anything or any brand.. i just say it as should be.. that's all.. i am not in any of these manufactures payroll.
I think gearing changes dont count as mods.............I usually change the gearing on most of my bikes both street and dirt..............Rickey's just trying to optimize the bike with stock wheelbase and engine.

This is pointless. I had a 06 with stock exhaust, flies out pc3 with sprockets. My 2012 is as fast on the street untouched. There is snow coming, rain now, let the bs continue. A few people out there have been doing the work to find the tracks and the weather but they are all obviously liers.. f it, let's all go buy old zx12s and save 12000 bucks and be cool like the man.

Compared to Vegas he dropped 2 tenths and picked up about 5mph.

Lol no tune with the cans off.. so 160mph bike with a tune, air cleaner and maybe bearings.. holy CRAP...

The Gen 1 14 is lighter also becuase it has a full system.
The cans alone aren't as much of a weight difference compared to dumping the header with them.

my quickest full exhaust run which proves my theory that Vegas was a slow track by almost ,2 tenths. My production bike is setup like a twin to the bike I rode in Vegas at the press intro. So you can always add >2 tenths on what ever you run at 3000ft altitude.

hey thats an idea .. since bracket racing is about all there is out there anyways ..
and TNT ... LIKE WHO'S GONNA BE IMPRESSED BY ANYTHING WE OWN ANYWAYS .. i got freinds that run 4.90's in the 1/8th and there ain't no 2012 zx14r that gonna touch them for a while anyways

Hey rickey, just a quick question, why you guys did not leave alone the sprockets as stock in both bikes?
Simple......nobody races with stock gearing, every other bike in the world requires more gear to get the bike off the line without bogging, but the 14 has always required less gear with stock wheelbase to keep the front down, and now that the new 14R makes 95 ft lbs of tourque at 7 thousand rpms and 114 ft lbs at 7500, it makes it rediculously hard, next to impossible to ride with stock gearing which is a 42,1 tooth more than 2011.

Go back and look at Smokin's, Seno's, Wee's Dyno sheets, the 14R goes to redline and is still climbing , going up, at 200 hp, when the REV limiter kicks in, around 10.7 . plus 114 to 118 ft lbs torque @ 7500 !!!! Has a wide torque band , 100 ft lbs plus from 5 to 10, This is a TORQUE BEAST, these bike ALL have low miles too. When someone breaks one in, pulls air filter , extends REV limiter 11 or 11.3 you will see 208 , 210 hp with out a tune !!
Now look at Shane's - Racheal's Gen 1 at ( Tour of Brock's Performance) it has 47's, o<
Bigger, Badder, Stronger and Faster
And it is all Warranted, This is the New Standard, all else is road kill.

Ricky, I have a honest question. Is the clutch in the new bike any different than the old one? Upgraded? Taking the abuse as good as the old one did?
