what is the 14r buzz on the busa forums?
Sure would love to read any and all things being said about the new 14r by the busa guys, but I don't really know where to look or have a desire to find a busa forum. It would be fun to post crazy quotes from other forums here. Don't need to be linked or backed up but that would be better.
Anyone got anything juicy or funny they read somewhere else they can post/link here?

I can tell you, they are upset and believe that their Gen II is better/faster than the Gen II zx14R. They are stuck in the aftermarket world, which many of them have yet to use.
I truly feel they are hoping that Suzuki has an answer for this new platform..... realistically, I don't see that happening for two to three years. It took them two yrs to come back with an answer for the Gen I; then that bike wasn't any faster.
They actually have to answer in with two designs. I liter bike to combat ZX10R/BMWRR and the 14R. They really have their work cutt out.

I'm hoping BMW makes a killer six or a 1500 cc inline four and do what it did to the liter class.

No, im a busa guy and I think the new 14 is gonna be a bad bike. I also dont think my 08 busa will run with the new 14. The old one thats a different story. Ive been lurking on this site for a long time maybe a couple of years now. I think some of you guys no your stuff as well some dont have a clue. There is some good info and expertise on this site. As far as the busa guys I know they all know the new 14 is gonna be faster its my buddies with 14's who doubt the new 14.

By the way 8.99 on a stock wheel base 14 is fast with a 1.52 60 ft. That thing has some power and thats degearing it.

A lot of busas have been struggling to beat the old 14 and now I hear them complaining, hating and crying!! Lol I love it

yep. Too many years hoping we can't believe it finally happened.
My experience was I was one ofthe first to start a thread at busa.org and that was several weeks after the 14r came on the scene and anyone who replied was all who GAF>?? I own a busa. I couldn't care less about a 14.
I think some of the newer owners are gonna care plenty.
You own these machines a while, you don't always care to upgrade right away. The power you can get with some aftermarket goodies is too much for most of us anyway. I'm waiting for the next baddest in line after the 14r. Gotta try to use up what I have a little bit first.

I read two busa sites .. The busa drag racers get it and seem to like the ZX14R .. The street dummies that have never raced still claim the Gen 1 busa is faster than any Kawi ever made ..These are the guys that got a Busa because they read somewhere it was the fastest bike in the world ... A lot of them know the ZX14R faster but say they will just turbo it and kick ass .. Well i have raced more than a few turbo busas and beat them .. It's one thing to have a turbo bike and it's a hole different matter riding it fast ...
Biggest thing i hear is the zx14 is ugly , calling someones zx14 ugly when you ride a bike with a penis head light and a whale hump is just being stupid .. OK i get it the Busa and the zx14R are not the best looking bike out there , some of the liter bikes are just so damn nice looking it really makes you want to own one .. But i'll take an ugly bike with 115 TQ over 80 TQ anyday of the week...

I agree smokin. I look forward to hearing about the testing you and wheelie are doing on the track. Madness it comes down to rider on the GEN 2 busa and previous 14. I hope you get well soon smokin.

Funny, I feel the opposite. all sportbikes are cool but beauty? That is def a bigger part of hyperbike pedigree than liters.
far as the tq, I agree it's awesome but I'm hankerin 'for a 600 that will scream out 16000 rpm even if it only makes 125 hp.
