Mr. Gadson goes into the 8s today on 14r.
Seems Ricky G. rented atco raceway today to make some passes on his 2012 zx14r and a stock 2011 and a 09 with pipe and pc. i will tell u guys like this the 2012 lowered with stock exhaust wouldnt go into the 8s,so he was coaxed into takin off the stock turds and into the 8s she went,i will let Mr.GADSON give the details .

This just not real too me! 9.10 155mph with NO TRICKS, stock air filter stock pipes and pump gas and 40 tooth rear sprocket! The 2009 I test had pipe PC, and tuned with a 40 tooth, but only ran 9.23 152. All with my 180 pound suited self!! Wait til my nephew lil Rich throws a leg over the 2012!!!

Ibad you missed the hole thing .. The 2012 ran a 9.08 A 155 STOCK PIPES ! The bike that ran 9.25 was NOT stock , it was piped and tunned and other mods.. Think about this the 9.08 was with a 40 tooth rear sprocket , it comes with a 42 factory .. You have to be making some power to pull a tall gear like that ..
Never mind , you just want to argue .. so be it ..

has anybody ever got 8mph more speed from a 30 hp increase from a 20lb heavier bike in the whole of history of motorcycling

2012 => Curb Weight 584.3 lbs.
2011 => Curb Weight 566.7 lbs.
BRB - gotta get my calculator ..................
