the new kawasaki zx14r can do wonders!! here is the recent pics of test done off roads... not sure who is the rider but man... that is impressive.

My best friend,Ricky Kay raced Jeremy Teasly in the 3rd rd. while he was riding bike #62 .Which according to RG was his bike ,but the Cup records show it belonging to "Reginald Harper".So where is the speculation?

Hands down the new 14r should walk from all of them easy. Unless someone slips a big bore kit on the gen II busa and calls it stock. LOL

I agree Jim, I've been excited about this bike and cant wait for SMOKIN to get one so we can get some "REAL" info and hard numbers specific comparisons to help many of us decide if this bike raises the bar high enough and is a big enough step forward over the current bike for those of us on the fence to ante up. I'll make my decision once I get the info i'm looking for to actually male an educated decision...............I dont think there's ANY doubt this bike will be faster and will raise the bar the REAL question is how MUCH will it raise the bar.

Yeah the Busa boys will have to do a lot of lying and cheating to keep up. Doesn't look like Suzuki is going to help them might to welcome some folks from the other side. If you can't beat em might as well join em. They can't even get upgraded brakes.

My only thing is stock wheelbase the gen 2 busa as well as the old 14's will still have a good chance as the 14 is going to be hard to ride for most guys. stretch them and that's a different story

My only thing is stock wheelbase the gen 2 busa as well as the old 14's will still have a good chance as the 14 is going to be hard to ride for most guys. stretch them and that's a different story
I hope that is actually the case Bently...........if this bike REALLY does make 25 more horsepower then i'm sure your right..........if the new 14R only makes 10 more horsepower I dont think it will be much harder to ride..............problem is except for the numbers from Vegas all we really have to go on about this bike is BS, rumors and speculation.

I mean despite all the wealth of info Rickey "CLAIMS" to have given us other than the Vegas numbers and the claim of 191 on the dyno all we have really gotten has been Rickey '"thinks" it makes 25 more horsepower and tests of modded pre production Zx 14's that say it makes 204 STD piped tuned and MR 12...........I seem to remember Brock's 2006 making numbers close to that..........then after all the compaining of testing a modded preproduction bike and giving no baseline numbers RT's says stock it made 178 I think, he then said the strongest ZX 14 he tested has registered 157 on that Dyno.
So on one hand we have numbers for a modded bike that dont seem a whole lot better than Brock got out of his 2006 Zx 14...........and on the other hand Rt's says this modded by put out 46 more horsepower than a Gen 1 ZX 14.
I fault Kawasaki much more than Ricky for another botched marketing plan..........if this bike is the real deal get Ricky or Brock or "SOMEONE" a bike to get some REAL info out there not the BS we have gotten it REALLY looks like Kawasaki is reluctant to give us some real world comparisons, apparantly Kawasaki reads this board since they gave us many of the things we have asked for so I hope they learn how to roll out a bike cause they botched the ZX 12..........Botched the ZX 14 it was months late and MANY people were pissed off, botched the ZX 10 with delays and a recall..........and botched the ZX 14R with having a pitchman who doesnt even have a a bike and hasnt put out any real info on the bike that its customers want............Kawasaki NEEDS to learn to underr promise and over deliver..........if they say a day it will be available it should be available on that day or well before..........if they have a cool pitchman like Rickey G get him a damn bike and let him put out real info not doled out BS.
This is a Billion dollar company they can do better than this!!!

He is a 120lb guy that races at Crandall a lot.He is on Psychobike quite often.Not real quick yet but it does have a lot of MPH
