Alien Head vs Street Meg
Jus curious...are there any difference in the power between the Alien Head and Smeg. I have had the opportunity to hear the Smeg. How does the Alien head sound in comparison to the Meg?

Alienhead is a little louder. If your drag racing it, be careful with the alienhead, it will ruin a good right boot and the bottom of your leathers.

And if you plan on building the engine at some point go with the Street Meg. Brock said that the Alien Head is tapered so it hurts power on larger motors.

LOL @ Eklipse! Is it that loud, because the Smeg is loud too.
Dakota, I didn't know that. I know that they both share the same Head pipes but the mid pipe is different and of course the muffler is a different shape but I didn't know Brock wud creat one that would hurt Big motors. You know where I might find that article?

Alien head is louder then the standard smeg cant say on the short meg I've never had one.

Has nothing to do with the header or header or the mid pipe, The muffler itself is tapered. Look towards the bottom where Brock says, "special note to Alien Head".
