Clutch Cable Question
Good Day All,
Over the last 15 years I have owned bikes with hydraulic Clutches. I was reading about the new Ninja 650 having a "Easier-pull clutch cable design for reduced fatigue and enhanced control".
My question for those who have bikes with pull clutches how long do pull Clutches last? When I owned my 93 Ninja 600 I was told to replace the clutch cable every 50K with normal use but I really don't know if this is good advice.
Thanks Rob

As long as you're lubing the cable regularly and keep it adjusted properly, it should last a long time - but cables aren't that expensive so if you'd rather replace it sooner.....have at it.

Thanks,
It's interesting to me how much things change when your not paying attention. When I bought the VFR all I kept hearing was how the Early VFR's were Flawed and how I was buying a problem. I still get questions from people who seem to believe that motorcycles do not last nearly as long as cars.

Thanks Mark,
Sounds like the advice I was given was reasonable.
Thanks
