Whats the track elevation?
What rpm are you launching at?
What tire and air pressure?

8lbs in the rear tire at that track. and launch at 6500-7000rpm. try to stay in the groove. loosen up on the stip about a half inche from where you have it in the video. get a 190 power one or 190 hoookup if you don't have one on the rear now.

Don't be disappointed. I made it to the track last friday and it was a big let down for me too. I was down 6mph from the last time I raced (February) but .10 from my quickest. I only got in 2 passes and then the track was shut down because a 2nd car went off the end (no brakes) and broke the safety net. My 2nd pass was a throw away being I stood it up off the line.
As many people will say, there is no replacement for practice. It's just hard to find the time.

Lots of bog, you are getting out of the clutch too quick. You need to do it quickly but smoothly. There is a fine balance of getting it out quickly and smoothly without holding on to it too long. Seat time, seat time.
Track elevation is around 100ft. It is Qualcomm in San Diego, and it really isn't a "track", it is a corner of the Chargers Stadium parking lot. Very hard to get grip when you get aggressive with it. You should really give Barona a try. Track has bad air, but the prep is good and you can get in a ton of runs.

drag racing a bike is not easy to get right. A lot of things are all going on at the same time. You have to get each bit right and that just takes time. A lot of passes, a lot of mistakes, and lots of thinking about what you are doing and learning from mistakes.

Hay 787 looks like the hookup is working pretty good for you I saw the wheelie before you let out of it. Qualcomm can be a hand full to race at unless you can get good traction.
Now that you have some traction you need to stop racing and concentrait on letting the clutch out a little slower like dakota said. The good thing about the Q is that you can come back around and try it again real fast. I know it hard not to race there when so many people are watching but try to work on you launch and getting to full throttle as soon as posible without boging or wheelling. Also understand that as soon as you get you sixties down you'll probably get kick out of the track for going to fast. Ask me how I know. Well unless you dakota ha ha. If I get the chance I'll come down and help you out next time the Q is open. Qualcomm can be a fast track if they prep it also don't burn up your bike down there, these guys don't know that you can get like 15 passes in 1hr if you get there early. I think the record is like 44 passes in one nite by a friend of mine. As QP said a lot of passes, alot of mistakes . Also check out Baronadrags.com It not to far from the Q like dakota said bad air but traction all day long.
