2012 ZX14R on Dyno

Hmm I found this on a different site but looks like a 14 don't it?? Not posting link, don't want to piss off moderators here...

Am I mistaken? or is that a 2012 ZX14R????
No graph was shown or Dyno SHeet
190+ to the rear wheel
110+ torque
Stopped before the limiter at 10K...
This was BEFORE the Kawasaki dealer show.

Actually a little disappointing... well the torque number is WAY off from 120 like it was supposed to have.. My 07 Dyno's at 180HP, 108TQ... blew 8K for traction control, 10+ HP, and 4 year warranty..... Hopefully a reputable tuner will throw down better numbers. Hoping this is not a production model and one of the "show samples".

Your 07 Dyno's at 180 hp and 108 tq....with full exhaust, custom map, velocity stacks, etc.... but you are disappointed at 190+/110 from a bone stock bike??

180 is pretty strong, btw. Is that STD? Most 14's I've seen, with bolt-on's and on pump, dyno in the 172-176 range. On top of that, comparing dyno results from unknown dyno's is a slippery slope, at best.

Either way, everyone is making too much out of these numbers, imo. Let's see what this thing does when it is uncorked! :

Dyno numbers don't mean a whole lot. Your bike might show 10hp difference from where/what dyno machine it is. Like Shane said, mine is 176 with exhaust pc with custom tune, filter, etc....

My apologies Smokin if I reposted data again... This was the first set of numbers I have seen with "pics" of the bike being on the Dyno, not over inflated MFG supplied numbers.
Shane here is graph of Dyno on my 07

Nice! When you get your 2012 set up you should put it on that same dyno. Should be very interesting!

What if you were told that the bike does make around 120 lbft of tq, just not at peak rpm.... would that satisify you? What if you were told that the bike produces around 20+ hp over 2011 Hyabusa?..... What if you were told all this occurs starting around 7500 rpm....

I am not saying this is true, but what if?????? Would this satisfy you? Would you visit the dealership first thing in the A.M?....... but if it were to be true, then we really aren't having this conversation, because no one knows what the bike will do..... that is if it were true...... then again, If this was true, then I would know somthing that I am not suppose to know.... or that I have a G14 classified clearance.....

I had mine dynoed @ RG's old sholp in South Jersey. It dynoed @ 187 hp to the wheel and just under 115 lbs of torque. Talk about a happy dyno. Those numbers are just a little inflated.

Pretty impressive, and that is with slip-ons, imagine if it had a full exhaust...lol

On a side note, my bike put out 174hp with a Brock's CT Meg.

I think it's way impressive completely stock. My '08 dynoed on Cheese's at 181/109. He was pissed the next time he ran it and was only getting 178 or so. He kept trying to find that lost HP. So many variables, and I'm not good enough to know the difference between 178 and 181.

The dyno Teddy and myself owned a zx14 would put down 178 to 180 or so piped and tuned when we first got it .. We had to send out the computer stack for repairs and after that zx14s made 174 to to 176 piped and tuned ... Stockers would put down 162 to 164 ... I feel that those are fair numbers ..

Do you take yours to the track? My bike only made 10 more hp the yours and about the same tq. I know set-up and rider weight has something to do with laying down track numbers, but for sure you should see it in the mph if you really are making 180/108. When my bike made 179/105 it trapped a best of 122 with me @187lbs suited. The added 10hp got me a best of 127mph on my very last pass(8th mile trap speed). All dynos read different and I doubt your bike is 10hp away from the 1441 stroker. Answers to your hp are in the numbers you put up at the track.
