Brock,
I have been looking at the exhaust pipe on the 14R, It doesn't appear to be single side slip on friendly. I remember removing my stock exhaust on my 2011 zx10, and it's very light as you know; however it's designed to accept a slip on. Looking and relooking at the 14r exhaust, in my opinion a sleeve of some type would have to be welded inorder to remove the various tappers, unless this is purposly designed to slow and then increase the velocity of the exhaust gases.
There is also a Y splitter for (L)/(R) exhaust canisters. So, a slip on like what you have for the 2011 zx10 would not be feasible. I truly believe a full system is in order. If your current exhaust model supports 250 (non inflating) rwhp bikes, then this should be good for the new zx14R. I believe this bike on Mr12 would net around 220 w/ram air....
With all that said, how many exhaust pipes does this fourm have to purchase at one time, inorder to receive a discount price of $800.00? Yep, I am asking right now how may of us will have to make a purchase to get a discounted price like this for an Allien head exhaust(I am sure some may want other models) ?

quote: Estimated turnaround time to build one of these pipes would be around six hours if I'm correct granted if you already have your fixtures for these pipes.
Do you guys use backup gas inside the pipes when welded on, talking about the stainless pipes which I believe is 316 stainless if I'm correct? Just curious because this would say a lot about your quality.
Also Brock, why is it that you don't have Jeff's phone number? You should have a better communication level with him. He might not be the quickest to respond back but he does try.lol
We use back-up gas in the Ti, of course... Jeff who? You lost me.

back-up gas in the Ti? If you're talking about titanium I am certified in titanium but that's not what I'm talking about.
The penetration of the weld on the stainless is purged on each of the inside of the pipes?
