ZX14R Production
Anyone know what the production numbers for the Zx14R will be..............I get the feeling Kawasaki is going to not make alot of them to purposely create scarcity and a huge pent up demand like many Christmas toy and electronics manufacturers do.
I got a feeling its gonna be a beast and there's going to be a huge demand for em because they are not going to be easy to get with left overs sitting in the showroom a year later.

My dealer had a meeting with the Kawasaki Rep Tuesday (10/18) and was supposed to get a delivery date for my bike. I contacted him today and he did not have an answer..... Anyone else get an answer on Delivery? I am guessing it will be a while because Brocks, Muzzy's, Dynojet do not have bikes either... Yet.
Anyone get an answer? Or a bike yet?

My Dealer also had a meeting 10/18 to place their order............one person said late November the other said early February

I AM THINKING THE SAME. IF YOU REMEMBER THE 06 ZX14 WAS DELAYED TOO. I THINK IT WAS SUPPOSE TO GET TO DEALERS IN FEB. BUT DID NOT GET THERE TILL MAY.

At the dealer meeting the Rep. said target delivery time is the end of November bit if there were any problems that could push delivery time to January. My dealer, Kawasaki of Pasadena, is expecting them in January. My fingers are crossed.

Hmm that's probably why my dealer wants my bike now, so he can possibly sell it "this year". I told him he can have my trade in when the new bike comes in!

I stopped in to my local dealer and he said he has no plans to order the new 14r. Says they don't sell well in Ohio,,,, WTF. I asked if he could order one for me and he said he had to wait for a price list from Kawasaki. I've been waiting for almost a week for him to call with his price.
I emailed another dealer in PA and they replied back that they had one "in stock" right now,,, Haha.

Dealer told me in November, then asked me if he could keep it on the floor untill another ones comes in. Grrr... I said yes as long as he keeps people off of it, and seperate from other bikes. My luck Johnny Noxville will visit the dealer and play dominos.....

They are personal friends, that's the only reason why I agreed. Obviously they asked, not told. They treat me like gold literally, never have to wait, warranty everything, go riding, shooting, cigaring with them... I get the 1st 14R coming in. I think it's better off there in a nice warm showroom then in my unheated garage. Frankly while it's there going to put on Alarm, steel lines, pipe, PCV (if they have one soon), AT, bar risers, Rizoma's, Damper, Speedo healer, etc... Just got to find out what is going to fit.

Just talked to the PA dealer and he said he just talked to his Kawasaki rep yesterday and was told at the earliest they would "ship" early December. He doesn't expect delivery till January.
As for price he quoted me $14,625 OTD based on 6.5% sales tax.

I guess by the time I'm ready to buy the 2013 will be out.So all that other stuff will be done.My dealer is a western Pa dealer that I bought my Monster through E-Bay with.
