I love my old 1985 GS1150ES. complete with an old Mr. Turbo RayJay that you can't get parts for and they don't make. The factory skinny wheels and tire/brakes sucked so I added USD 1995 GSXR750 forks/rims and tires/brakes.

It's no CBX, but I was given this bike yesterday:

1975 CB750K with 14k miles. It needs some restoration, but runs and has new tires.

WILL TRADE 07 ZX14 STRIGHT ACROSS !!
At 57 I am old have owned CBX, GS1100 , The only issue with CBX's wobbel more power than frame and small tire's , and the carb leak into 1 cyl while on side stand , bending the crank.
I would rather have that CBX than my zx14
THANK'S FOR THE POST

actually that 6n2n1 doesn't sound as good as a 6n1 which I don't have, I do have a new old Kerker 6n2, I get excited every now and then and start looking for a 6n1 but can only find junk.

Nice looking Ronnie, it still looks new. When I worked at D&D Exhaust so many years ago they had a 6/1 that really worked good if you got the carb's set correctly. We removed the plugs and opened up the pilot air screws and a Factory Confg. 10 jet kit. They had better needles then the Dyno/Jet kits back then. I was looking at a mint used 1979 metallic Red CBX in 1983 and purchased a new CB1100F red&white. There was a guy at Green Valley back then that won King of The valley one year on a red CBX. Man I really liked the sound the 6 made with a 6 into 1. Thumbs UP on keeping it so nice. Use some Simi Chrome Polish and LOT of work and that blue will go away...... for a 1000 miles or so :-) Nice pictures did Lucky take them??

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

You and many others in the CBX Club. In 2000 they called me at D&D and asked if they ordered 10 would we drag out the old tooling and make them..old Man Rash(owner) said NO. D&D was great with carb bikes but he never got a handle on maps... their down fall.
A another reason I quit...Tech Support was a night mare 1st year Power Commanders on the Buse were crappy (they fixed this) and our maps sucked on the HD that were back firing on de-acell etc.
I tried to talk him into it as that 6/1 it had a Sweet tone to it and it made about 11 more HP
with airbox on. If you were good with jet kits and knew what you were doing with carb's.

Nice bike, too bad they put those comstar wheels on it. With only 11k on it they are probably still tight but they're infamous for the rivets coming loose. You must have good friends Shane to give you a classic 750k bike.

Fantastic pic of a great bike - thanks Wheelie........"Flash-back" 1984, I'm living in Chicago and partying every weekend at the Oak St beach on Lakeshore Dr. with all the babes (flight attendants from American Airlines who's main base at that time was Chi town). One Sat a guy shows up on the big Honda set-up with the 6 into 1 header. When he got on it, I thought I was in Monaco at the friggin GP!!!!! It was without a doubt one of the sweetest and most invigerating sounds I've ever heard a bike make.
Cheers,
Cliff
