Tire Time

I need new tires for my 09 zx14. I'm thinking the Metzler M5 interact front and rear.
I found Metzler tires to be my first choice. Anyone put the M5 babies on there 14?
And how did you like them?

I have been running Pures for street, road track, drag strip and land speed on my 09zx14. Metzler were a good cruising tire when I used them on the harley. They handle very well in dry and wet weather but never tried their M5 on my 14.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm leaning towords the Metzelers because the older sport Metzeler tires I had on my ZX11 were excellent. Much better then the pilot sports . So I'm just assuming the new Metzelers are even better then what I was accustomed too.
But I got to say the bridgestone stock rubber on the ZX14 are very sticky when heated up. And are a good second choice .

Power road 2 tires are really good too. The pures are the next step up with out going to powers by michelin.

Friend uses the power road 2 and he likes them. ITs on a aprilia RSV1000

any of the modern tires made by a reputable manufacturer are just fine. Just get what you like and be comfortable with that choice.

I'd put Metzler, Pirelli, Michelin on my 14 no problem. Currently have Pilot Road 2s on mine with no issues at all.

If your thinking the stock bridgestones are sticky, then any tire made should be just fine for you.

Like QP said, pick a tire and be comfortable with the tire.

I Just picked up a set of pirelli diablos for $200 at cycle gear, on sale. It's my first set of pirelli's but after 400 miles I like them so far. They heat up fast, and feel alot different from the shinko's I had. The Shinko's just made me nervous in the rain. Didn't have much groove to them.
