AFR, PSI and cruising

I have been playing with, have been since the Bazzaz gadget was installed, my 'cruise' AFR to better MPG while cruising - speeds up to about 90 MPH. Initially I had the AFR for 10% and lower and RPM below 4500K to 13.7 (cruising up to 90 MPH). I am going to change that to 14.7 I think, increase the TP range from 0% to 15%, and see how that goes.

Anyone have any thoughts on having the AFR at 14.7 for 'cruising', TP 15% and lower, RPM up to 4500, where PSI is 1 LB or less? Timing is -6 static with Muzzy plate. Seems safe to me...

?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but you mentioned 1 PSI at certain TP and revs. Are you running a turbo?

yes. Boost at 4000-4300K, at cruise rests at about 1 PSI.

Bruno,

So Motty does that all on its own?

I've made up some maps with AFR @ 13.7, TP 0 - 10 percent and RPM up to 4500K, there after the AFR
goes to 12.5 by the time the RPM reaches 5K. Thats worked pretty well with the turbo.

Before I consider 14.7 in that lower range though, I want to see if folks in the know have any thoughts or experience with it. I'd realy like to get past the 100 MP tank before a refill thing again.

yes you load a target map(anything you need in AFR) and the motty build a fuel map as you ride. the fuel map change every time you ride the bike,to keep the last update you have to stop the engine with the kill switch 5 seconds before turning the key off.this is a part of my last fuel map and a part of a log (the motty can datalog 3.5 hours).wen i ride the bike(touring mode60 to 80 MPH) i always got 180+miles before the message fuel empty,
