What a difference a sprocket and a tire make + boost
I got my 43 tooth sprocket put on and my Shinko Hook up. I went from 17/40 to 17/43. Added a new Shinko Hook up tire also. Yesterday on the 1/8th mile at 10 pounds of boost on the Busa I went a best of the day at a 5.52 @ 138mph in the 1/8th mile. A 1.41 60 ft. That was on Av gas at 10 pounds of boost. It was 100 degrees out yesterday. The hook up is a great tire for the money. I put it on a spare rim I had. I kept the Vee Rubber 190 on the other rim. At 15lbs. of boost with the Vee Rubber aired up to 35lbs. of air it will spin in 4th and 5th at over 100MPH. It's a great way to show off and the tire want wear down hardly at all no matter how far you spin it. Theres more in it because they didn't prep the top end of the track so I was spinning going through the traps. I am going to take it to a better track Thursday that is all concrete. I will have to say Steadmans Motorsports tuned the bike to where it rides as good as a stock bike.

Unless you have ever ridden a bike making over 330 H.P. at the rear wheel it's going to be hard to imagine. If someone offers you a ride on a Turbo bike to check it out don't do it. A normally aspirated bike will never feel strong again. That's what happened to me. On the street riding with your friends a quick turn of the wrist and they are just small objects in your mirriors. I been riding them a while but for the average non turbo rider they are a handfull. It gets rolling fast and you always have to worry about the front end coming up no matter what part of the track you are at. The secret is boost control. without it you can't harness the power.

I have went through the traps on the back wheel at 158 on the old turbo bike it was just unpredictable and down right scary at times, I should have got a good boost control for it and tried it like that before I got rid of the bike.

An example would be take my bike run 18 pounds of boost with no controller. A stock 600 sportbike would outrun you in the 1/8th.

If I ever ran 140 in 1/8 I would jump off the bike before it stopped rolling, grab my dick and start posing for pictures.

a 008 with some grooves cut in it from a dirt track tire groover makes it look semi street tireish. It is heavy but I can always add a pound of boost. If I remember right it's on average 7 HP for every pound of boost.
