Dry shot kit by dyno tune

After lots of searching and research on dry nitrous I could not find an answer to my question.
Some time ago I bought the two bottle dynotune dry nitrous kit for the 14 with the intension of buying a a power commander and another equipment needed, but other things took priority and I'm still power commander less.

The seller claims you can use this kit safely on a showroom stock 14, and that with the smaller jets included (15,30,40) the air temp sensor in the box will be cooled by the nitrious adding enough fuel for these smaller shotsl. I would like to install this with the 15 shot, for some occasional use.

After all I've read on this subject I feel the 15 shot would be safe on a stock 14, but like always I would appreciate any opions, warnings and input on this.

I have the dynotune setup with the 2.5 pound bottle, mounted the nitrous tubes into each of the air ram tubes (mixes up air and n20 better). That will flow nitrous over the entire area around the EFI sensor cooling the airbox and making the ecu add more fuel. Thats the reason they make it like this. You can use the biggest jet, which I am without a problem. Any bigger jets than the 40 and you risk to much nitrous and not enough fuel. Dry kits are nice for short shots. I am using a PCIII but dont have it mapped for extra fuel for the nitrous.

You could only do that with the 15 shot at 900psi or lower bottle pressure. If you have a brocks pipe the track map would be great for the 15.

if the 14 has a closed element IAT sensor like the 12 does, it wont react fast enough to compensate for a good shot..... i wouldnt go over 15hp without mapping it IMO

.. To get the A/F right on a zx14 with a 15 shot i add to add 8% , A 30 shot i used 12% more fuel .. If the bottle pressure spikes over 900+ even 12% may not get the job done ..

That's assuming your tune is good on motor already...

My bike seems to be on the edge of lean as it is, When my bmc air filter is clean I get some low rpm spark ping under load, when the filter gets dirty and rectrictive the ping goes away.

I may just wait till I can get a pc5

If I cannot afford a pc5 right now, I sure as hell cannot afford to rebuild my motor! lol I'll just hold off a bit..
Ive done a few things to improve my bikes speed, 16,43 vortex sprockets, ground a corner off the sensor nut, lowered bike 1.5" front and rear, ditched some weight, rubber inslation, belly pan and bracket, helmet locks, tool kit, factory fender, along with my slip on r-77 (Ti) thats a lot of lost weight all added up, and should be good for the few bike lenghts Im looking for.

I put a 40 hp dry unit on Beths bike a couple years ago - I added 10% at WOT, the
bike has been perfect. While she does not go out and race - she does enjoy
hitting the button when we get out on a ride.

I wouldnt do it but there are quite a few bikes in my area spraying 40 with no fuel added, fogging the ram air tubes as someone already said. They have been togther for years and not popped yet. I wouldnt do it but others have.
