Never mind. I'm an idiot. My stack height was fine, but I had the clutch pack in backwards. The first fiber to go in is larger in diameter, allowing you to use what the manual calls a "spring." Well I had the stack in backwards, so the "spring" was adding to the stack height. Needless to say, I got it working correctly now. Thanks all!

Good lookin lockup you got there.

You've got too much weight on the arms. For using all 5 springs you're not going to need all that weight. Take the washers off at the very least.

Having too much weight on the arms will rob the bike of horsepower. I don't remember what kind of HP you said you were going to be making, but with 300+ i was only running 3 bolts, no washers.

because the contact area of the fiber with the chatter rings is to small onto the inner hub .. and you fry that 1st fiber quick when your making hp on launching ..

I would have to disagree, depending on riding style, HP, static pressure, gearing etc... I run 5 Steel bolts with two washers on each and that is the only thing that will hold a clutch together in my bike. Any less and it smears fibers in one pass.

What fiber do you run instead of the small Kawi one? I run a thick Busa one but I would be curious if Kawi made a thick one like that.

The Connie 14 has thicker fibers but not sure if they are a thick as the small 14 one.
