Picked up another Busa at the salvage sale $1800
06 model. all stock. FL. salvage title. been down on both sides. had a slider on the right but not one on the left?. It saved the right side some but the left is scratched up. Unknown miles, does not run, battery dead. ticket said no spark. DOES NOT RUN. Hope I did not get burned. I just figured since it had the stock exhaust and still had all the blinkers plus some squid handlebar grips it proably has a good engine. I was in a bid war with one other guy. I got it for $1800 out the door. I keep hoping another 14 will come through. I tell you what though. the 1000cc bikes and the 600's bring crazy money on 07 and up models. Well I am going outside to throw a battery in it and see if I can get it started. pics in a few.

OK. I found the problem. whoever took the original battery out of it knocked the tip over switch off of it's holder behind the tank. I simply picked it up and hung it back on the lower tank mount in it's upright position. Fuel pump runs now. It started right up and runs perfect. has 13K on the clock and rides smooth and shifts smooth. Every panel on it has some sort of scratch but nothing broken. I have the pipe left over from the turbo project i could put on because both stock cans are road rashed. one has a grind through on it. . I might snatch the motor out and part the rest out. Don't know yet. not really my favorite color scheme.

lmk if you decide to sell the complete roller minus engine . Been looking for one for sometime.
I don't care what the plastic's look like................

I will. The plastic is scratched but not broken. I have not decided what to do with it yet. It does have a Florida non rebuildable salvage title so that may be a hurtle for you.

Not a problem. I not in any hurry, just been watching for something along these lines ,so whatever you decide is fine.
Ill check into my state reg ,on title issues..................
