- Busa Clutch Fibers?? -
I heard that GEN 1 Busa friction plates will work in the 14. Has anyone done this? Is the stack height correct?? Any tricks, or just drop in?
The reason I ask is that I have spare 14 steels, and a pack of new Busa frictions. If they will work ok I would just as soon use them rather than spend the money on a pack of 14 frictions right now.
Any info would be great...thanks.

You can use them it just depends which fibers you have.

Dick  Go mic them and see if they are the .150s or the .120s you should have one of the big ones and 1 less of the small ones than the 14 takes.

stack hieght is different if you use all busa fibers. i think it was too high. but you can mix em to get it right. my buddy stacks two steels together and it works for him. i wouldnt do that though. i always just stuck to stock.

How can his clutch work right with two steels together?

because they act as one big steel. they are locked together in the grooves on the inner hub.
