e85 map for 08 ECU with 06 injectors
Anyone have an e85 map for 08 zx14 ECU with 06 injectors?
Or does anyone know the difference in flow % from the 06 to 08 injectors. So I can just modify my current 06 ecu e85 map.
Because it is really rich with this setup.

I am guessing 0 map with the setup you have ....
06 has 440 cc injectors,,, 08 has 330 cc injectors
440 / 330 = 1.3 ,,, that is 30 percent more ... i think that i went up 35% to go from gas to e85 , so you may just add a few percent if your map was on the lean side.

Thanks for the info Roy. That makes sense.
I started with pump gas and the standard muzzy map for sidewinder with both sets of injectors and that is why I said it is rich with the 06 set.
I wasnt sure which way I wanted to go, so I did not put the e85 in this one yet, but it looks like It should work out fine.

How much are you guys picking up with the E85 on motor and are you guys adding any timing to your bikes or stock timing and just adding fuel foe the E85

on the dragbike I picked up a tenth as soon as I changed the fuel and added 30%. Then about another tenth when I tuned it a bit more. I played around with advancing timing a few degrees, but I really cant say it did a whole lot.
I havent run it on the streetbike yet, but I am sure it will run cooler and have better torque.

I've used E85 on my turbo bike I think I was one of the 1st to do it, but I was just messing with fuel with the zx14 but now with the genII I can get into the timing and maybe build a very aggressive tune with lots of timing or as much as it likes, I also plan on spraying the bike with E85 as well, just need a new fuel pump and I'll start messing with everything.

That was right. I used E85 on a Friday and picked up a consistent 3 mph. We put 46s in Saturday and Sunday showed another 3 mph consistently. That was with stock motor and stock gearing.

Rich, what is your bike setup and suited weight? What were the dates and at which track?
What was your mph before and after?

Bike was SWB at the time. I was averaging 144 ish most runs, poured in E85 and added 35% through all fields and let the auto tune make changes. 3 147s in a row at Rockingham Friday evening, March 18th. Temp was in the 70s. I normally go to Fayetteville. Put in 46s on Saturday and ran mostly 150s at Fayetteville on Sunday. Temps were in the 60s.
I weigh 140 in shorts, add leathers and boots and all. Not sure of the weight. Bike has not been on a diet, except for street meg.
No timing change, no change in plugs.
